India vs Bayern Munich 2012: A Farewell to Bhaichung Bhutia

India 0-4 Bayern Munich
The atmosphere at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium was thrilling, but not the result as far as India concern. Around 40,000-strong crowd, came to Nehru Stadium to watch star players and gave Bhaichung Bhutia a Cheerful Farewell. For every touch of the legend, Bhaichung the crowd went crazy One just could not wish to have a better farewell match than to play against the top club in the world - Bayern Munich and to play against the Star names like Thomas Muller, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Mario Gomez, Franck Ribéry, and Arjen Robben.

Bayern Munich were fabulous on the field they were playing with Indian defence and marked their dominance each time they found the Indian net. First-half looks like Practice match for Bayern Munich as Indian had hardly got to the ball and they were struggling to get rid of the Munich players, who were putting the ball in net so easily. But second half was good form Indian perspective as they stopped the Bayern Munich 4-0 and they have shown some sort of fight in second half. This was a great learning experience for Indian team and hope they’ll be tough competitors for Bayern Munich next time when they’ll meet.
